Joining Carmelcrest in 2005, Ben has in depth experience in every aspect of Carmelcrest’s activities. Appointed as Managing Director in 2017, Ben plans and oversees the successful and stable growth of the company. His engaging approach embodies our vision; to provide exceptional service levels and a tailored approach to each client’s needs.
As Operations Director, Steve is responsible for the successful delivery of each and every project. This involves the development of strategic project execution plans, cost management, design management and construction delivery, whilst managing customer satisfaction and expectations.
Ray has been part of Carmelcrest since its inception in 1983. As Chairman, he provides guidance and support the senior management team in its task of setting and implementing the company’s direction and strategy.
A senior member of our Operations Team, James undertakes the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of his projects. This role requires a variety of skills and is the link between Consultants, Client, Site management teams and Designers, ensuring that each of his projects is delivered to our high standards. James specialises in delivering projects within our Leisure and Education Sectors.
Joining in 2017, Andy has settled into our team brilliantly. In his role as Project Manager, he undertakes the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of his projects. Andy specialises in delivering projects within our Blue Light and Healthcare sectors.
Assistant Project Manager
Steffan provides support to our Project Managers, assisting with resource procurement, team communication, planning and cost controls. Working with our Operations Team, Steffan is following a route to become a full Project Manager.

Business Development Manager
As Bid Manager Ash is responsible for the submission of each tender and quotation, ensuring quality standards are maintained every time. As our Bid team have developed, Ash’s responsibilities have extended into our Marketing activities, attending Networking events and ensuring that our literature library’s are maintained and updated.
Junior Bid Writer
Adam Joined Carmelcrest as a Bid Administrator, assisting with the preparation and submission of each Tender return. Now at the level of Junior Bid Writer, Adam writes and prepares the quality responses on our tenders. We look forward to seeing how Adam progresses.
Adam manages our Estimating team and is responsible for identifying our clients specific requirements. He is responsible for the costing of tenders, working to ensure that the full scope of works is identified at tender stage. Adam is very detailed, ensuring that tender deadlines are met without exception.
Luke oversees the Accounts department along with other key financial areas of the business. He has a keen interest in finance and investment and seeks to help the company grow in this respect going forward.
Charles joined the team in early 2017. He has learned a tremendous amount since he has been with the company coupled with his AAT Level 3 training. His main current responsibilities inclue paying suppliers, payroll and general accounts assistance.
