Lewis has been with Carmelcrest for over 5 years. Having started with us as a carpenter, he has developed his skills and now manages sites. We are certain Lewis will progress further in the business into project management .

Assistant Site Manager

Starting with us as a decorating apprentice, Mitchell was quickly identified as a person with a great character and so was offered a 5 year trainee project management role. He is in his first year of his traineeship, and we are looking forward to seeing Mitchell develop and flourish.

Managing Director

As MD Ray provides the vision and gives strategic direction to the busnes. Guiding and empowering employees to make the vision a reality. Ray has been in the industry over 35 years, and mentors many of the younger employees and his 4 sons who work in the business.

Project Cost Manager

Tony, a valued staff member has worked with Carmelcrest for 30 years having worked his way up from trade.Tony not only manages small and large projects, but acts as trainer to the many up-and-coming younger members.

Adam Spooner

Adam Spooner

Electrical Manager (NIC EIC)

Adam has achieved so much at a young age. Only 23 Adam is the Electrical Manager, who is an NIC EIC Qualifying Supervisor, and is currently undertaking electrical design courses. Adam heads-up our newly formed electrical division, and is involved in building his new team, with a great future to look forward to.

Apprentice Electrician

Taylor is a new find, and lucky we did as he has already made his mark as a skilled electrician with a very likable character. Taylor is in the last year of his apprenticeship being guided by Adam Spooner. We have a great future here for Taylor.

The business is going though a 10 year succession and Ben will be the new MD. A proficient project manager and now Director he has worked his way through the business from begining as a carpenter. Ben is a leading influence on the business and supports other project managers, whilst learning to eventually lead the business.

Ashley is our newest member, our bid writer. Ashley's friendly and approachable manner means he is already thought of as part of the team and has fitted-in extremely well. We are looking forward to a long future with Ashley.

Credit Controller

Luke, a friendly helpful person is an example of what young people are capable of given the right guidance. But take nothing away from Luke, he has achieved beyond all expectations. Luke came into the office from school, and at the age of 20, has rans# our bid team, manages our credit control and has achieved level 3 AAT accounting. Future possibilities are extraordinary.

Director

Steve joined the business from school and has worked his way through the business from beginings as a painter and then carpenter. Steve is a very popular guy and has made his mark managing some large contracts and guiding and supporting other project managers and junior members. Steve is a Director of the business and as such has extended responsibilities for staff welfare, social activities and strategy.

MTC Site Manager

Dave was employed to site manage at Addenbrookes hospital on our 5 year contract, and his considerable man-mangement skills has led to him managing all aspects of the contract. We are looking forward to the future with Dave, extending his role outside Addenbrookes on other works in the Cambridge area.

Project Cost Manager

Rising star James is a project manager responsible for several sites of various sizes. James has great way about him and is an invaluable team member with a great future ahead with the business. We have aspirations of James heading his own branch office in Colchester.
